Q. Where do I find information abou the Modbus registers in order to configure the Vykon HVAC IOM I/O modules?

A. When using IOM modules with the Vykon HVAC application no Modbus information is required; the module set-up is done automatically, but if you are using the modules with NiagaraAX then the register information can be befound in the Vykon HVAC I/O Module Communications Guide, which is located in the Vykon HVAC Guides section of this web site.

Q. How many ION modules can I attach to one JACE?

A. JACE can accept upto 4 ION modules, which are plugged in tot the righthand side of the JACE using the built-in multi-way connector, which supplies power as well as the communication link. An ION34P counts as two modules and is always mounted last. The ION34P contains a PSU sufficient to power all the I/O modules and the JACE so that 24Vac can simply be wired to screw terminals on the ION34P.
